College Senior: T.J.

My youngest cousin, T.J., is graduating from Azusa Pacific University this December.

He is the youngest of us grandchildren and the 8th of 10 to receive his bachelor's degree. I really wish my grandpa were still here to see the great man he has grown up to be and to bask in the pride of seeing all his grandchildren graduate from college. But, I know he is smiling down on all of us.

T.J. hopes to enter the Los Angeles Police Department in a few months after he completes the application process and enters the Academy.  Proud of you T.J.!!!

Gonzalez Family

Gaby asked me to take family pictures of her, her husband, and boys.

We decided Irvine Park would be a good locale for her pictures. It was a super windy day, yet we made the best of it. Mateo, her youngest was our biggest challenge, but despite him not caring to take photos or pay attention, we were able to get some great pictures that she plans to use for her holiday cards. Gerardo even was able to bring his Elf on the Shelf and I got some cute pics of him with his holiday friend.

It should come as no surprise who I tagged as "naughty" and "nice" in their picture together!

High School Senior: Oscar

My oldest nephew is in his senior year of high school. When I first met my husband, Oscar was 1 year old - ONE! Man, has time flown by... I just can't believe how 17 years has gone by so incredibly fast! It really does remind me to treasure every moment with my own two children. Before I know it, I will be taking these pictures of them. (;'( tear, sniff, whah!)

We really wanted to capture this special time by getting pictures of him in his football jersey before the end of the season. Luckily, I was able to get to the campus and get some fun shots of him in his jersey and letterman jacket. We plan to take even more pictures as we near graduation in his cap and gown, but for now I will cherish these.
